New Year, New Adventures: What We've Been Up To This January

This month has been one hell of a ride. Starting the year off right is so important and that's exactly what we did. This month we have managed to push out four new episodes all with the same chaos and laughter as always, if not more! We wrapped up last year with our Best of 2024 episode so if you haven't had a chance to get the recap be sure to. You wouldn't want to start a show on season 4, and if you do at least watch the season recap duh! Let's dive into all the things we've been up to this month and what's up next on the agenda.
TMG Highlights
Emily's January Highlights
January was a whirlwind of family fun and unexpected adventures for Emily! She kicked off the year at La Trecha Ranch with her family, fishing and eating way too much good food (you know, the perfect way to start the year). Then, in true Emily fashion, she found a lost puppy in her yard and couldn’t just leave it hanging. After a little TLC, she managed to find it the dream home every dog deserves—nothing like starting the year with a new pup rescue story!
Next up: a snowy weekend packed with family time, cozy vibes, and some kitchen chaos (Emily’s cooking skills are truly a work in progress). And who could forget the momentous occasion of Hattie’s very first cotillion? A milestone that’s definitely going in the memory books! Emily also attended the Texas Rangers Awards Banquet, rubbing elbows with players, coaches, and fans, all while secretly wondering if she could sneak in a few autographs. Oh, and if you missed it, Emily’s pumped about the Rangers’ new TV lineup—especially because she gets to work with her bestie, Elvis Andrus! Now, is it spring training yet, or what?
Julie's January Highlights
January was packed with family fun and unforgettable moments for Julie! She kicked off the month celebrating her husband’s birthday with a special morning at the dog park and lake, watching their dog have the time of his life and the kids playing by the water. It was the perfect way to start the day! Then, Julie convinced the family to hit the road for a ski trip—something they hadn’t done in 14 years. After just one day of ski school, the kids were skiing like pros, and soon, the whole family was shredding the slopes together, making for an epic winter break. Julie also got to take Ryder to the Cotton Bowl, where they enjoyed pregame and postgame access on the field—a huge thank you to the Cotton Bowl team for the amazing experience! Of course, no month is complete without supporting the family, so Julie cheered on Dad at his beer league hockey game, where the night was filled with laughs and friendly competition. She also had a blast on The Dumb Zone, where she kept the fun rolling with classic dad jokes and plenty of nonsense. January was full of laughter, adventure, and some very cool experiences!
