What We’ve Been Up To This July!

July was a full month, one that held both joy and heartache. Texas faced devastating floods that left so many communities hurting, and our hearts continue to be with those affected. Amid it all, Emily’s kids headed off to Camp Huawni and Camp Ozark to make summer memories, Julie spent three weeks in Canada with her family, and TMG partnered with Williams Athletic Club for a special Kendra Scott event. We packed a lot into one month, and August is already shaping up to be just as exciting!
This episode had a little bit of everything! Starting with a star-studded wedding in Venice that sent us down the celeb gossip rabbit hole. From Sydney Sweeney to Tom Brady to P. Diddy’s legal drama, nothing was off-limits (including Julie’s signature War Update). We also talked big news for the Dallas Stars with the hire of their new head coach, someone Julie and her husband know personally. And of course, we couldn’t resist debating whether moms should really be doing choreographed dances. To round it out, Arielle Moody of Mama Sol joined us to share how she built her skincare brand and to clear up a few common sunscreen myths you’ll want to hear.

Julie spent the Fourth of July at the lake with her close family and friends. With hearts heavy for the Hill Country, the weekend was a time to pause, reflect, and hold loved ones close.
This episode, we talked about the unthinkable tragedy in the Texas Hill Country. It’s an honest and heartfelt conversation as we try to process it together.

In July, Emily took the kids to Camp Huawni! An exciting moment for them and a memorable one for her.
This episode went international with Julie in British Columbia and Emily holding it down in Fort Worth. We talked standing up for Pat Mahomes, why this Rangers team feels different, and got the scoop from Dietician Hanna Eboagu on feeding kids, athletes, and even ourselves.

Julie headed to Canada in July for three weeks to visit her husband’s family. They had a blast exploring the ocean, the mountains, and what felt like the most heavenly place on the earth.
From Scottie Scheffler’s career crossroads to the kiss cam drama that sparked a talk about marriage and infidelity, this episode had plenty to unpack. We wrapped it up with Sarah Armstrong, VP at Google, who shared insights from her new book The Art of The Juggling Act.

From dropping the kids at Camp Ozark to enjoying a couple of date nights with her hubby, Emily spent July soaking up summer and making the most of it all.
This week we talked Pam and Paulina going makeup-free, Liam Neeson impressions, Emily’s baseball-hormone analogy, and the latest on a so-called screen divorce. Oh, and of course we had to debate filming your kids on dentist drugs, guilty as charged!

One of the highlights of the month was our event with Williams Athletic Club at Kendra Scott in Southlake. It was an evening filled with style, sips, and lots of laughter!
